1. Razor Crazy Cart Shift (Razor Drift Kart)
Best For Age 6+ Kids
SPECIFICATIONS
Age: 6+ | Weight Limit: up to 120 pounds | Battery: 12V, lead-acid | Battery Life: Up to 40 minutes | Charge Time: 3 hours | Max Speed: 8 mph | Dimensions: 30.35 x 20.66 x 12.8 inches| Kart Weight: 10.1 Kilograms
REASONS TO BUY
✓Ride at a slow speed for safety
✓Simple to assemble
✓Attaching a flag increased visibility
REASONS TO AVOID
✗The battery only lasts 40 minutes on one charge
✗Charging time: 2.5 hours
Kids will enjoy this kart because it is designed specifically for them. It’s one of the lightest and smallest karts (at 30 pounds), but it can handle 120 pounds at most.
This is a great kart for beginners. At its top speed, the kart can reach eight miles per hour. For those just starting out in karting, this speed is perfect. It provides a comfortable ride and ensures the rider’s safety at lower speeds.
It is important that the buyer is aware that there are no brakes on their vehicle. The vehicle comes to a stop through deceleration and does not have brakes installed.
As the kart doesn’t go at high speeds, this is easily manageable. There is a detachable cool flag on the kart that not only adds an exciting factor for kids but also improves the visibility from a distance of the kart.

REASONS TO BUY
✓A friendly environment for adults
✓A quick and nimble operation
✓Capacity of 240lbs
✓Whenever you play with your kid, you’ll beat himCons
✓There are no brakes
✓Long charging time
✓Drift karts are very heavy
REASONS TO AVOID
✗Charging time: 2.5 hours
I selected Cart XL as my second-best drift kart because it is adult-friendly. It may not be your choice, but I like to be the dad who plays with his kids and doesn’t mind drifting. Simple and effective.
Jokes aside, Cart XL has the biggest engine out of the three drift karts we reviewed. Even though it weighs 112 pounds, it can reach speeds of around 14mph. It is a heavy drift kart, but it can hold up to 240 pounds of weight and is made for adults. That is truly impressive.
With its three 12V batteries, you should be able to ride this kart for approximately 40 minutes. The negative aspect of three batteries is that they can take hours to charge fully. Would spending 40 minutes with your kid be worth 12 hours of charging? As long as you have a garage, that doesn’t bother me. But I will leave that decision up to you.
4. Segway Ninebot Electric Go-Kart
Best Electric Go Kart
SPECIFICATIONS
Age: 0 – 3 years | Weight Limit: 220 pounds | Battery: 432Wh | Battery Life: Up to 40 minutes | Charge Time: 3 hours | Max Speed: 23 mph| Dimensions: 40 x 32 x 18 inches | Kart Weight: 60.9 pounds
REASONS TO BUY
✓There are three modes of riding
✓Motors with great power
✓The frame that can be adjusted
REASONS TO AVOID
✗Pricey
Another popular option for those who enjoy drifting is the Segway Ninebot Electric Go-Kart. Adjustable frame and steering wheel fit riders from 4′ 5 1/2″ to 6′ 3 1/2″. Furthermore, its maximum weight capacity is 220 pounds, making it suitable for adult riders as well. However, Segway recommends that young children not ride it.
With its acceleration of 12 mph in just a few seconds, this drift kart is the ultimate drifting machine. There is a 2.1:1 steering ratio on this vehicle, which allows it to make tight turns with ease.
Each rider mode of the kart is designed specifically for their specific skill level. For beginners, the speed is capped at 5 mph. The speed increases to 11 mph in Standard mode and 15 mph in Sport mode. The motors have a combined power of 800 watts. It has a multi-layered frame that includes a plastic exterior and a steel frame to ensure double protection.
5. Razor Ground Force Drifter Kart
SPECIFICATIONS
Age: 8+ | Weight Limit: 140lbs | Battery: 2 X 12V sealed lead-acid batteries | Battery Life: Up to 40 minutes | Charge Time: 3 hours | Max Speed: 12 mph| Dimensions: 38.2″ x 26.4″ x 15.3″ | Kart Weight: 57.6 lbs
REASONS TO BUY
✓Three hours of charging
✓Seatbelt and brakes
✓Sparks are created when you pull the lever on the larger wheels
REASONS TO AVOID
✗Handles instead of wheels
✗The handlebars have an acceleration button
✗Not suitable for beginners
After Razor Force Drifter, another top drift kart is insight. Although I like the look of these handlebars, I do not like the way they feel. A steering wheel would be much more comfortable. Driving with a wheel just feels more natural.
Our next drift kart is geared more towards slightly older kids but is also suitable for kids as young as eight years old. Ground Force Drifter is Razor’s older, bigger brother to Crazy Cart Shift, but it’s more expensive. Considering that this kart can load approximately 140 pounds, even teenagers will be able to use it with no problem.
The visual design of this kart is the first thing we should discuss. The comparison between the previous and current products is obvious: it resembles derby cars and racing cars more closely. The Ground Force Drifter is capable of much more than this, just by itself.
It is first of all faster and more powerful than the previous machine. Drifting at 12 miles per hour is the maximum speed of the Ground Force Drifter. Although it may not seem significantly faster than 8mph, it is a noticeable change nonetheless. A maximum of 40 minutes of battery life is available, similar to the Crazy Cart Shift, but this time at 12mph instead of 8mph. When comparing the two batteries, it’s clear that the Ground Force drifters is far superior. Although it still requires roughly two to three hours to charge.
6. Razor Crazy Cart
Cheap drift karts For Kids
SPECIFICATIONS
Age: 9+ | Weight Limit: 140lbs | Battery: 2 X 12V sealed lead-acid batteries | Battery Life: Up to 40 minutes | Charge Time: 4.5 hours | Max Speed: 12 mph| Dimensions: 37″ x 24″ x 19″ | Kart Weight: 55.2lbs
REASONS TO BUY
✓Seatbelt is present
✓Your kids will love this name
✓For better handling, place the steering wheel higher
REASONS TO AVOID
✗Brakes not working
✗The minimum age for children is 9 years old
Next, let’s take a look at our Razor Crazy Cart, which is another cool drifting kart. Where did it get the name Razor Crazy Cart? It must be popular among kids since I have no idea how it got that name.
In the sense that it does not have brakes, this kart is very similar to the first two. The seatbelt is there, however, for the parents’ peace of mind.
It can reach a top speed of 12 mph for about 40 minutes by pressing on the acceleration paddle. In general, this kart can handle about 140lbs of weight and is suitable for children at least 9 years old.
There is no problem lifting the kart into the back of your car because it is compact and not too heavy. Because the wheel is positioned pretty high on this kart, it might require an SUV for transport.
7. Razor Drift Rider
Best razor drift karts For Kids
SPECIFICATIONS
Age: 9+ | Weight Limit: 143 lbs | Battery: 22V rechargeable lithium-ion battery | Battery Life: Up to 40 minutes | Charge Time: 5 hours | Max Speed: 9 mph| Dimensions: 37.6” x 23.7” x 23.4” | Kart Weight: 24.4 lbs
REASONS TO BUY
✓The tricycle looks like this
✓Is equipped with brakes
✓Possibility of leaning into corners
✓Transportable and best
✓Cheaper than the others
REASONS TO AVOID
✗Charging time is 5 hours
✗Slower than average
On our list of best drift karts, the last kart is not really a kart but something called a Razor Drift Rider. Basically, it is a tricycle. So why am I including it here? That’s why I did it; I wanted to bring a new perspective to you, the buyer, and a new experience to your child.
A tricycle that allows your child to turn into corners while drifting has been designed. Drifting on this little vehicle does not require fancy handlebars; simply move quickly to one side or the other, and it will do the chore effortlessly.
In spite of the fact that it looks fragile when compared to the other karts, it can still handle the same amount of weight the other karts can while remaining the lightest. This tricycle is easy to transport. It can even be put in the back seat.
It is interesting to note that even though it claims the battery life will be about 40 minutes, the device will last much longer than that. When drifting, kids release the acceleration button, unlike when driving a kart.
8. Segway Ninebot Electric GoKart Pro

REASONS TO BUY
✓Lightweight and robust
✓Aimed at ages 8 and above
✓10 mph top speed
REASONS TO AVOID
✗ Batteries have a limited lifespan
A traditional buggy-style kart that can be used both on and off-road, the Razor Dune Buggy is the perfect recreational vehicle. Made out of lightweight yet durable steel tubing, it’s a great recreational kart. Its motor has a 350-watt capacity that allows it to reach speeds of up to ten mph.
The vehicle is equipped with a bucket-style seat with a side roll cage and a seat belt. An active rear suspension, diamond-plate floorboards, and eight-inch knobby pneumatic tires complete the vehicle. On smooth surfaces, you can easily drift as well with hand throttle and brake controls.
10. Sopbost Electric Go Kart Kids

The front wheels consist of 8-inch pneumatic tires, while the back wheels consist of 6.5-inch motor-driven wheels that enable it to accelerate and drift. A high steering ratio of 2.1:1 allows it to accelerate up to 16 mph and steer at 16 mph.
The handbrake allows the driver to initiate drifts, while the pedal brake is used to control the speed. Several different driving modes are available for different ages, including an adjustable frame, which can be adjusted in length. Approximately 140 pounds is the maximum weight allowed.

Types of drift karts for adults: single-seat, two-seater and four-seater
In this post, I’ll introduce you to three types of adult drift karts: single-seaters, two-seaters and four-seaters. Each type has pros and cons to consider when deciding which is the right one for you.
Single-seaters have the advantage of being very easy to drive and require less skill to operate. In fact, most single-seaters cost under $1000 and are therefore affordable for almost anyone. This type of drift kart also offers the most fun and thrills since there is no physical interaction between the driver and the vehicle. However, these drift karts are not recommended for beginners.
Two-seaters are popular among enthusiasts. They come in either front-wheel-drive or rear-wheel-drive configuration, offering the advantage of providing more traction over rough terrain. The drawback is that they are a little bit harder to drive than single-seaters. It takes a little practice to master, especially on hills, but once mastered, the thrills are worth it.
Four-seaters offer four seats for passenger comfort and convenience, and offer a great view for a driver. They are also the best option for those who want to share the fun with family and friends. But they have the disadvantages of requiring a larger budget, longer learning curve and taking up a lot of space in the garage.
To choose the best drift kart for you, look at each of these pros and cons in order to determine which type of drift kart is right for you. You can get some insight from the following sections on each type.
